Biography

(Stavanger – Norway) Born from the depths of the Norwegian black metal tradition, LAVEMENT weave a tapestry of sonic malevolence that transports, or rathers deports you to the realms of the infernal.

Dissonance and gritty textures are their weapons of choice, utilized alongside specific scales, intervals and chord progressions, forging an auditory experience that invokes a sense of dread and foreboding.

While electronic keyboards are not customary in the black metal landscape, LAVEMENT employ them judiciously, as a subtle presence in the background, adding layers of atmospheric texture that enhance the overall sonic journey. Yet don’t be misleaded by this ethereal accent. With vocals piercing the veil of sanity, allowing satanic themes to permeate their lyrical tapestry, they unravel the complexities of the dark side of the human condition.
